Check rankings. Keep reports. Manage your profile.

Choose what to check, save the results and review every change before publishing.

Check rankings across your area.

Select a business, keywords and a geographic grid. Rank Lantern checks Google Maps at the selected grid points through its bundled browser on your Windows PC.

  • Keep scan history and review earlier results.
  • Compare compatible scans to see changes across grid points.
  • Create branded, interactive HTML reports.
  • Compare businesses seen in your saved scan results.

Results show what was observed at a place and time. Keep your PC on and resolve browser challenges if a check pauses.

Manage your Google Business Profile.

Connect Google and choose a business you are authorized to manage. Read profile details and reviews, update supported business details, and manage posts and gallery photos.

  • Write update, event and offer post drafts.
  • Attach a local JPG/PNG or an image URL to a post.
  • Schedule your own posts with Google.
  • Import, preview and publish gallery photos.

Connect one active Google Business Profile for your account. Choose when to refresh Google content. Google can process or review what you submit.

Reply to reviews in your own voice.

Read reviews and use Groq to help prepare replies with your consent. Review, edit and publish each reply yourself. You can also write replies manually.

  • Save and copy your Google review link.
  • Generate QR images and a printable review card locally.
  • Prepare request templates to copy into your messaging app.
  • Invite honest feedback fairly.

Automatic replies are disabled. Review-request tools prepare links and materials; email sending and an embeddable review widget are not available.

A scan you can revisit.

Keep the context behind the result, from the search you chose to the comparison you share.

  1. Choose the search.

Select the business, keywords and geographic grid you want to check.

  2. Run it on Windows.

Keep your PC on and connected to the internet while the bundled browser checks the grid. Resolve a browser challenge if the scan pauses.

  3. Review and compare.

Inspect saved results, compare compatible checks and generate a branded HTML report.

Scheduled posts can publish while your PC is off.

Once submitted, Google holds your scheduled post. Your PC can be off at publishing time.

In the app’s Scheduled posts list, choose Reschedule post or Delete scheduled post. Cancelling your subscription does not cancel scheduled posts.

Receiving a refund does not automatically cancel posts already scheduled with Google. Active access is required to submit new posts through Rank Lantern.

Before you get started.

Understand where the app runs, what it connects to and which actions stay in your hands.

Is Rank Lantern a Windows app or a browser tool?

Rank Lantern targets Windows 11 on Intel/AMD x64 PCs. Python and a private Chromium browser are bundled, so you do not install them separately. WebView2 setup may need internet. Account access and connected Google Business Profile tasks also use online services. The public installer is not available yet.

Does my PC need to stay on?

Your PC must be on while a ranking scan runs. A browser challenge may pause a scan until you resolve it. For a scheduled post, Rank Lantern submits the content and future publishing timestamp to Google. Once submitted, your PC can be off at publishing time. Google may process or review the content, so publication at an exact time is not guaranteed.

How many Google Business Profiles can I connect?

Connect one active Google Business Profile for your account. You must be authorized to manage that business. Local ranking checks can retain results for multiple businesses.

Will it reply to reviews or create posts automatically?

With your consent, Groq helps prepare reply drafts from the full review text, its rating, business name and relevant context. You review, edit and publish each reply yourself. Rank Lantern does not automatically reply to reviews or generate and publish posts for you. You can write and schedule your own posts.

How should I interpret ranking results?

A scan records where your business was observed for selected keywords, places and a particular time. Results can change. Comparisons use compatible saved scans, and competitor information comes from businesses observed in those results. The app does not guarantee rankings or improved visibility.

Does everything stay on my computer?

Reports, ranking history, local drafts and original photos stay on your PC. Online services handle account access and the Google tasks you authorize. AI reply assistance sends the full review text and relevant context to Groq with consent. Review text can contain personal information. A photo chosen for publishing is temporarily shared so Google can fetch it.

Will my reports and ranking history follow me to another PC?

Reports and ranking history are stored on the PC where you create them. They do not automatically sync between computers. Signing in on another PC does not copy them. Use Create backup and Restore for a manual transfer to the same account. Backups are not encrypted and do not restore Google authorization, sign-in credentials or paid access.

How will the seven-day free trial start?

After selecting your business in the app, choose “Start free trial.” Eligible accounts receive seven days automatically, with no card required. Installing, signing in or selecting a business alone does not start it. The one-time allowance is 250 ranking readings, 10 completed AI drafts, 300 Google request credits and three new posts or gallery photos combined. It ends automatically without converting to paid access. Public trial access will open with the public installer; it is not available yet.

What will the monthly and yearly billing options include?

The RL Spotlight plan offers ₹199/month, selected by default, or ₹1,990/year billed upfront. Save ₹398—two months free with yearly billing, at ₹165.83/month equivalent. Both include 2,500 ranking readings, 200 completed AI drafts, 3,000 Google request credits, 20 new posts/photos combined and one active connected Google Business Profile. Allowances renew monthly, including on yearly billing. They reset on your monthly subscription anniversary, with no rollover. Google or the AI service may temporarily limit requests, even if you have allowance remaining. Try again later. Paid checkout is not open.

How will I subscribe or cancel renewal?

Sign into the Windows app and choose “Subscribe” or “Manage subscription.” A secure, short-lived link will open the website for your existing account, without a separate website account or another sign-in. Checkout and cancellation happen there. Once payment is confirmed, access is added to the Rank Lantern account you used to open checkout. The app will refresh your subscription status. Live subscriptions are not available yet. The separate test billing preview does not activate paid app access.

What happens to scheduled posts if I cancel or get a refund?

In the app’s Scheduled posts list, choose “Reschedule post” or “Delete scheduled post.” Cancelling your subscription does not cancel scheduled posts. Receiving a refund does not automatically cancel posts already scheduled with Google either. Active access is required to submit new posts through Rank Lantern. Your local reports and files remain on your PC.

Local files. Connected services.

Rank Lantern combines work on your PC with cloud services for authorized Google operations and AI reply assistance.

Your reports, ranking history, local drafts and original photos stay on your PC. Google authorization tokens are encrypted in our online service for the tasks you authorize.

With consent, AI reply assistance sends the full review text, its rating, business name and relevant reply context to Groq. You review the draft before publishing. Rank Lantern does not silently switch providers if drafting fails.

How photos reach Google

A selected local JPG/PNG is copied temporarily into a Bareslate Studio-owned Google Drive folder. You do not need to connect your own Drive. The original stays on your PC. The individual temporary image is publicly downloadable so Google can fetch it; the folder itself is not public.

For immediate publishing, the source copy is kept for a 48-hour processing window. For scheduled posts, sharing starts at submission and continues until 48 hours after the scheduled publishing time. Scheduling further ahead or rescheduling later extends that period. Cancelled or definitely failed schedules can release copies for cleanup. Service outages may delay deletion.

Disconnecting or deleting your account

“Disconnect Google” removes our saved authorization tokens and cached Google content. Your Rank Lantern account, business association and local history remain. You can separately remove Google permissions in your Google Account settings.

Email [email protected] to request account-data deletion. We verify account ownership before acting. Cloud deletion does not remove files or backups on your PCs.
