Who provides Rank Lantern

Rank Lantern is provided by Nishanth Kesavan, trading as Bareslate Studio.

Business address: 3 Floor, Aryan Fountain Square, Sarjapura-Attibele Road, Attibele, Bengaluru, KARNATAKA 562107, India.

Contact [email protected] for account, billing or product questions.

Your account and connected business

One subscription covers one Rank Lantern account and one active connected Google Business Profile. You must own the business or be authorized to manage it.

Do not share your sign-in credentials, resell or transfer your subscription, or use one subscription as shared access for unrelated customers or businesses. Contact support if you need to change the business connected to your account.

Usage allowances belong to your account and are shared across the PCs where you use it. Reports, ranking history, drafts and original photos stay on each PC and do not automatically sync between computers. Use Create backup and Restore to transfer local work to the same account.

Ranking checks and Google profile tasks

Rank Lantern is a Windows app for local Google Maps ranking checks, saved scan comparisons, branded HTML reports and supported Google Business Profile tasks. The release targets Windows 11 on Intel/AMD x64 PCs.

A ranking result records what was observed for selected keywords, places and a particular time. Results can change, and the app does not guarantee rankings or improved visibility. Keep your PC on and connected to the internet during scans, and resolve browser challenges if they interrupt a check. Rank Lantern is not endorsed by Google.

You choose when to sync Google content and confirm what you publish. Groq helps prepare reply drafts with your consent. Review and edit each draft before publishing. Automatic review replies and AI-generated automatic posting are not offered. Google may process, moderate or reject submissions.

Photos and scheduled posts

Upload only content you have permission to use. A local photo selected for publishing is temporarily copied to a publicly downloadable source so Google can fetch it. The original stays on your PC. The Privacy page explains how long temporary copies are kept.

Once a scheduled post is submitted to Google, your PC can be off at publishing time. Cancelling your subscription or receiving a refund does not automatically cancel posts already scheduled with Google. Active access is required to submit new posts through Rank Lantern.

In the app’s Scheduled posts list, choose “Reschedule post” or “Delete scheduled post.” Cancelling your subscription does not cancel scheduled posts. Google processing and review mean an exact publication time is not guaranteed.

Your reports and backups

Reports, ranking history, local drafts and original photos stay on your PC. Signing in on another PC does not copy them. Use Create backup and Restore for a manual transfer to the same account.

Backup ZIP files are not encrypted. Keep them private. Restoring a backup does not restore sign-in credentials, Google authorization or subscription access.

Normal uninstall retains local data. Uninstalling, signing out or deleting local files does not cancel renewal, request a refund or delete your cloud account.

Start free trial

After selecting your business in the app, choose “Start free trial.” Eligible accounts receive seven days of access automatically, with no card required. Installing, signing in or selecting a business alone does not start the trial.

The one-time trial allowance is 250 ranking readings, 10 completed AI drafts, 300 Google request credits and three new posts or gallery photos combined. The trial ends automatically and does not convert to paid access.

Public trial access will open with the public installer. Public downloads and paid checkout are not available yet.

Prices and renewal

The RL Spotlight plan offers monthly billing at ₹199/month or yearly billing at ₹1,990/year, billed upfront in INR. Yearly billing works out to ₹165.83/month equivalent. Save ₹398—two months free compared with 12 monthly payments. These are the final customer totals, with no additional tax added at checkout. The seller is GST-unregistered. Paid checkout is not available yet.

When purchases open, sign into the Windows app and choose “Subscribe” or “Manage subscription.” A secure, short-lived link will connect the browser session to your existing Rank Lantern account. You will not need a separate website account or another website sign-in. Checkout and cancellation take place on the website.

Once payment is confirmed, access is added to the Rank Lantern account you used to open checkout. A manually entered checkout email does not decide which account receives access. The app will refresh its subscription status and display access and usage information.

Monthly and yearly billing renew automatically. The recurring charge and billing period will be disclosed before purchase, and the website will show the next renewal date.

Both billing options have the same monthly usage allowances. Allowances renew monthly, including on yearly billing. They reset on your monthly subscription anniversary, with no rollover. Google or the AI service may temporarily limit requests, even if you have allowance remaining. Try again later. See Pricing for what each allowance covers.

Cancel renewal without losing paid time

Choose “Manage subscription” in the signed-in Windows app to securely open your account’s subscription page on the website. Use “Cancel renewal” there to stop future renewal charges. Your confirmation will show the access-end date. You retain access until the already-paid period ends.

Cancelling renewal does not automatically request a refund. Uninstalling the app does not cancel renewal. If a renewal payment fails, any already-paid access continues; after expiry, paid features pause until payment succeeds.

Your local reports, history and files remain untouched when paid access expires. Posts already scheduled with Google are not automatically cancelled.

Requesting a refund

You can request a full refund within seven calendar days of your first successful paid purchase, for monthly or annual access. Email [email protected] within the window with your account email and payment ID. These terms apply to live paid purchases when checkout opens, not Razorpay test transactions.

We review and initiate eligible refunds within three business days of receiving your request. Business days are Monday–Friday, excluding Karnataka public holidays, using Indian Standard Time (IST).

Renewal payments and requests outside the first-purchase window are generally non-refundable. Duplicate charges, incorrect billing and paid-access failures are reviewed separately. Cancelling renewal does not provide a prorated refund for unused days.

A full refund ends the access covered by the refunded payment. We will also arrange cancellation of future renewals and confirm its outcome separately; the refund alone is not confirmation that renewal has been cancelled. Your local reports and files remain on your PC. See Refunds & cancellation for processing and bank-credit timelines.
